A Journey That Began With the Pain of a Mother…

For many years, I had been witnessing something that deeply troubled me—the condition of cows wandering helplessly on our streets.

I saw them searching for food in garbage dumps…
wandering hungry and thirsty…
and getting injured in road accidents.

Sometimes their legs were broken. Sometimes they suffered severe injuries. And at times, the accidents were so tragic that they even lost their lives.

Every time I witnessed such a sight, it left a deep pain in my heart.

I would see them… pass by them… but my heart could never truly leave them behind.

Again and again, one question kept coming to my mind:

“If we call her our Mother, then what am I doing for her?”

I wanted to do something, but I did not know where to begin.

Then, with the guidance of my Guru and the inspiration I received from Gau Mata, a thought came into my heart:

“If I truly want to do something for Mother, I must begin with myself.”

That thought slowly became the purpose of my life.

I made the difficult decision to leave my job and dedicate myself to a different vision of Gau Seva—one that could be modern, self-sustaining and dignified.

It was not an easy decision.

On one side was a secure job and a familiar life. On the other was a path whose destination I could not see.

But I had faith:

“When the journey begins for Mother, Mother herself will show us the way.”

With this belief, we decided that Gau Seva should not depend only on donations and financial support. It should have a model that could sustain itself.

A Different Approach — A No-Donation Gaushala

We dreamed of creating a Gaushala where cows wandering on the streets could find a safe shelter, food, water and a life of dignity.

But from the very beginning, we made a commitment:

“Gau Seva will continue, but not on the dependency of donations.”

We believed that if a Gaushala is to serve for generations, it cannot remain dependent only on donations.

It must become self-sustaining.

And that is where our No-Donation Model began.

Slowly, the Gaushala became a reality. Cows started coming in. Their care and service began.

But along with the service came another important question:

“How can we make Gau Seva truly self-sustaining?”

And perhaps, the answer was right there with Gau Mata herself.

Cow Dung — We Saw an Opportunity Where Others Saw Waste

Every day, our Gaushala generated cow dung.

We chose not to see it simply as waste.

We saw a possibility.

A possibility for employment…
A possibility for natural products…
A possibility for environmental responsibility…
And above all, a possibility to make Gau Seva self-sustaining.

We made cow dung our main resource and our partner in this journey.

What began as a small experiment gradually became a journey into cow-based and natural products.

Today, this vision has grown into a range of products including:

Our Purpose Is More Than Making Products

We want our Gaushala to become independent of donations.

We want the natural resources received from Gau Mata to be used meaningfully.

We want people to see cow dung not as waste, but as a valuable resource.

We want to create new opportunities for employment.

We want to provide employment opportunities for women, respect their skills and help them become financially independent.

We want to promote natural, traditional and locally made products.

And above all—

We want a day to come when no one has to look at a cow wandering on the street and ask:

“What can I do for Mother?”

Because we believe that Gau Seva is not the responsibility of one individual—it is a collective responsibility of society.
